Yamaha Policy: Yamaha requires that all motors must be shipped to an authorized Yamaha dealer. The authorized Yamaha dealer will then install any necessary rigging, test your motor, fill out a detailed engine checklist, and file your warranty paperwork with Yamaha. This will be an additional cost to you (contact your local dealer for that pricing). Dealers are not required to offer this service. When you check out, enter your local Yamaha dealer’s shipping address in the ‘ship to’ address fields at checkout. Yamaha does not allow dealers to ship engines directly to the customer. If you see a competing dealer that is willing to ship directly to you, they are breaking Yamaha rules and your warranty may not be valid.

Shipping

UPS allows shipments up to 150 lbs (dimensional weight). If the motor is over 150 lbs, the motor will have to be shipped via freight line. We will determine the freight cost and have you do a second online transaction to cover the cost of the freight line delivery once we get an exact quote.

We will then ship the motor to the authorized Yamaha dealer that you have selected to perform the warranty inspection and paperwork. We will notify you when we have shipped the motor.
